Inventors who work under an employment contract in the private sector or are employed by public institutions have the right to claim reasonable remuneration from their employer for inventions they create, pursuant to Articles 113 to 122 of the Turkish Industrial Property Code.
The procedures for calculating this remuneration are defined in the Regulation on Employee Inventions, Inventions in Higher Education Institutions, and Inventions Arising from Publicly Funded Projects.
IPRA provides legal consultancy and attorney services to inventors working in the agricultural sector, covering the determination of remuneration entitlement, application processes, legal proceedings, and the collection of compensation.
